Twitter is reporting that the company is handling 800 million queries per day, up 33% from their last public report in April. By comparison, comScore reporting that Yahoo did 9.4 billion queries in December.

The Media Ratings Council, an organization that accredits audience measurement services as being valid, reliable, and effective, recently approved Quantcast. Competitors Nielsen Online and comScore have also applied for accreditation but are still waiting for approval.

comScore just came out with their February search report and Bing captured 11.5% of the search market, up from 11.3% in January and 10.7% in December and 8% last May.
In a similar pattern to prior months, Yahoo lost market share and Google maintained their market share.
