Mapquest, once the leading online map service, has relaunched with more features, less ads and a focus on local search. Google Maps passed up Mapquest in terms of features and usage back in early 2009.

Zillow recently announced that June traffic was up 26% over last year, pulling in 10.7 million visitors. The company also reported that users have downloaded 1.75 million of its mobile apps.

Hitwise, a leading global online competitive intelligence service, announced that for May 2010, Google had 72.17% of the US search market, up from 71.40% in April. Both Bing & Yahoo showed slight month over month loses, but Bing continues to gain on Yahoo.

Hulu is reportedly working on a content deal with CBS, Viacom and Time Warner. Adding to it’s content lineup would help Hulu in it’s efforts to switch from a free ad-supported service to a paid subscription service.
